This architectural investigation explores the essence of life by asking fundamental question:

What is life?

What does it mean to live?

How do things come into being, in relation to their specific environment?

BY opening up in biology and philosophy, the project uncovers a core polarity at the heart of existence, the dynamic between this singular and the dual.

The concept is inspired from the natural processes and rhythms of life formation, where a single entity divides, multiplies, and retrieves to entangle with another. Through this lens, the house becomes an architectural expression of life's generative tension: the splitting of the one into two, and the entanglement of the two into one.

This duality informs the spatial, structural and experiential nature of the design. An architecture that lives by invoking the processes through which life itself arises.
